aMT Succinate Powder is a compound that is tryptamine-based. 1-(1H-indol-3-yl)propane-2-amine, generally known as aMT or -Methyltryptamine, is a synthetic indole alkaloid molecule of the tryptamine class. Tryptamines, an indolamine-metabolite tryptophan, are a vital amino acid. Certain aminergic neuromodulators have the same structure as tryptamine.

aMT A methyl group is used to replace the alpha carbon in succinate tryptamine. It shares a chemical relationship to tryptamine similar to that of amphetamine and phenethylamine. The neurotransmitter serotonin is strongly related to aMT (5-hydroxytryptamine). AMT can be learned in freebase form as a racemate to its (R) and (S) enantiomers.

The Nitroaldol Condensation of indole-3-carboxaldehyde and nitroethane under ammonium acetate catalysis, plus the condensation of indole-3-acetone and hydroxylamine, accompanied by reduced amount of the resulting ketoxime with lithium aluminum hydride, can be utilised to create aMT. AMT can be used as a release agent for three monoamines and a balanced reuptake inhibitor.
