What are 3Phoria Pellets?

3Phoria Pellets is a research chemical which contains a mixture of 2-FEA as well as 3-FEA. 3-Fluoroethamphetamine (also known as 3-FEA) is a novel ring-substituted amphetamine compound that produces a mixture of entactogenic and stimulant effects when administered. 3-FEA is structurally similar to a number of designer fluorinated substituted amphetamines. These compounds include 2-FA, 2-FMA and 3-FA.

The pharmacological and toxicological effects of 3-FEA on humans are still unknown, as is its parent compound 3-FA. Anecdotal evidence suggests that 3-FEA is a moderately powerful serotonin-dominant, triple monoamine releaser. It produces a mix of entactogenic effects and mild stimulatory effects.

The history of 3-FEA’s recreational use is very short. It is highly recommended to use harm reduction techniques when using 3-FEA due to its psychostimulant properties and potential habit-forming effects.

3-FEA Properties

3-FEA, or 3-fluoroethamphetamine, is a synthetic molecule of the amphetamine chemical class. The phenethylamine core of amphetamine molecules is composed of a phenylring that links to an amino (NH2) chain through an ethyl link substituted with a Ra methyl group (i.e. Amphetamines can be described as alpha-methylated Phenethylamines.

3-FEA (also known by ethamphetamine) is the 3-position fluorinated analogue of ethylamphetamine. It can also be used as an analog to fenfluramine by having the 3-trifluoromethyl substituent replaced with a 3-fluoro substitute.

3-FEA Effects

While 3-FEA was not formally studied at the same level of traditional amphetamines it is assumed that it acts in a similar way to other substituted amphetamines. It may act primarily as a triple receptor inhibitor and/or releaser for the monoamine neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine.

It has been demonstrated that compared to the unsubstituted ethylamphetamine, 3-fluoroethamphetamine is a weaker releaser of dopamine, but a stronger releaser of both serotonin and norepinephrine, producing the strongest reinforcing effects in animal studies out of a range of 3-substituted amphetamine derivatives tested, despite not being the most potent dopamine releaser.
